Truly it's a sad day, when those who created one of the best sports in the world don't qualify...
Euro will be empty without The Three Lions...

A Huge **** to Mr. Steve McClaren!!!!!!! he couldn't create a team from some of world's best players
Piece of crap not a manager. I hope next time they'll hire a real coach not an **** like him.
I also hope that England qualifies next time, when the Euro is in my country...

damn Cry :-[ Sad

Football got me really, REALLY pissed off yesterday.

First, there is a hold up in Steve Bruce's return to Wigan Athletic (Who I support, just for those who do not know), great...

Then, England go crashing out, and I mostly blame Steve McGingerpubes.

However, seeing as he was sacked at that meeting this morning I'm in a slightly better mood now. Just for the record, the favourites to take the job are Martin O'Neill, and of course, the man who will make England his special one's if he gets the job (well, wants it...) Jose F'n Mourinho!

Jose would take it...but the money would have to be rather large methinks.

Good luck to Wigan, they're alright. But we shall see Charlton in the premiership next season, oh yes...

Personally i don't think Jose is a good pick. he is creating conflicts all around and his training methods have been figured out by the rest of the world and he can't surprise anymore.
I'd rather see M. O'Neill take the spot.

Widzew Lodz/Arsenal London/Ruch Chorzow FOREVER!!!!

For me there's only one choice for the England post and that's Fabio Capello. The man is a born winner and is not 'starstruck' by the big names. In my opinion, Gerrard should be dropped but never would be under McArsehole and at least Downing will never play for England again!

On a brighter note, congrats Chip on getting your man! Brucey is a fine manager and will do well at Wigan I believe. I've always said, if given the choice of England getting to the Euro's and Man United winning the treble, I'd take the treble for United each time and this is our best chance of doing it since 99 I think.

Look at the example of Poland. When Polish teams started hiring foreign managers (football, ski jumping, volleyball, others) we have a lot of succes in sports. maybe it's a good way...

All i can say is... thank god o'neill turned it down... as a villa fan, we could do without losing him. Second of all... England are not full of World Class Players... other than Gerrard helping Liverpool to a Champions League Medal... they are all unaccomplished... in recent years anyway. England needed a reality check and it pisses me off to still see people saying they are World Class Players... they didn't even qualify for Euro 2008 which doesn't even make them Euro Class players... face facts. I work for Sky Sports and its pretty likely its gonna be cappelo.

About the players... Yhey ARE classy players but they need someone to bring out the talent in them.
it's a matter of a good coach, because the players are great. sure it's far from england's best times, but as a team they can do anything, but as a TEAM! not as stars...

England have achieved nothing for over 40 years... and people have said the same thing for 40 years... they just need the right manager, its not true... we need players who are considered world class, i think very few english "stars" would make any of the top european sides abroad...
