I've been watching MMA, UFC in particular, for about 11 or 12 years. What I enjoy seeing is how much the sport has evolved. You used to see these karate huys come in and get dumped on their heads by wrestlers, or choked out by jiu-jitsu experts. Things have changed now. You can't be a one dimensional fighter and find any success in this business. A jiu-jitsu guy will get his ass whooped because he has no stand up and, when he tries to shoot, he gets kneed in his head by stand up fighters with good takedown defense. From my stand point, it's an exciting sport filled with talented, smart guys and it appeals to the casual, knock out fan or the die hard, technical analyst.

Heh, Kiezamoore he's just trying to get an argument going, so just don't listen lol. I have to say though, I do find watching the ground and pound fighters kinda boring. Like Tito Ortiz for example. Can't stand that guy.

The funny thing is... is that these guys are probably a lot more athletic and have a lot more stamina and better condition than most other athletes.

I'd like to see any of us try and last 5 minutes with a guy like Anderson Silva, GSP, or BJ Penn waiting to pound the living hell out of you, and then perhaps pull your arm out of your socket.

These guys have multiple black belts, and they had to work hard for these. Some fights end up being boring if you have a boring pair of MMA fighters. When you get the right forces in the octagon, you get a piece of art in the ring.

Watch Forrest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonner in the Ultimate Fighter finale or Griffin vs. Rua... Those two are classics, and I am sure there are more.

I would honestly choose these fights over any boxing match, and most baseball and football games.

I for one am a HUGE fan of Mixed Martail Arts. I think that it takes alot to even think about getting into the octagon. The UFC is the best there is out there and Dana White has brought it to a level that I did not think was achievable when I use to watch Gracie fight three hundred pound men.

No. That's somewhat of a flaming post, there. You see, what you have to understand is that, far from it that I am an "idiot", you are so stupid that you insult thought. This is why there has been somewhat of a mass exodus of thoughts from your cranium, since you began your hypocritical rant against me.
