A very in depth comment there.

It needn't really be explained. It's a fact. A bullet-proof one, at that.

I find it rather exciting, in my oppinion it is the only fight sport that I can watch. More action packed than boxing for example. So it might not be too bullet-proof.

I think that it doesn't take as much talent to be good at MMA than it does with most sports.

Nevertheless, want to come over to my house, bring some popcorn, and enjoy a 1 minute MMA match?

How many MMA fights have you watched? I have followed UFC during the last year, and the majority of those fights have lasted over a minute, hell they have lasted around/over ten minutes.

Over ten minutes? Now, that's a long time.

Not that long, since I feel that everything between 5-10 minutes is completley normal for a match to last in the UFC.

That's a blanket statement that comes out of ignorance. Mind you i'm not saying you're ignorant, just your knowledge on this subject seems as if you are.

MMA takes more talent than you realize. And the fact that it can end at any time makes your technique all that more important. To try and avoid the big punch, or keep yourself from getting locked in a triangle.

Some matches are boring in the fact that the fighters are tentative and just goto the ground and do nothing. But for the most part it's a high energy sport.

Maybe its not for you. But don't say it's boring or that it doesn't take talent. Let's see you train in Brazilian Jiujitsu.

The qustion remains. Why do those associated with Pro Wrestling (wrestlers, fans, etc) respect MMA, when those associated with MMA (MMAists, fans, etc) don't respect pro wrestling?

When did this become the question? You just started out with saying it was boring and questioning the talent needed for it.

I can honestly say that I have never seen or read anything that justifies your statement, that the wrestling world respects MMA and that the MMA world don't respect wrestlin.

Me for example I like both wrestling and MMA and I have respect for all those involved for making what th ey do the best entertainment one can watch. And I think there are some other dudes here that agrees with me.
